Baby blackbirds make their home in our Garden Centre

June 18th, 2014

A family of blackbirds has made a nest behind a plant pot, in a bookcase at the entrance to the shop.

They have hatched several of their eggs, and can be seen feeding them on a regular basis.

Liz Kenny, our Garden Centre Manager is really excited about the new arrivals, “We have had many birds nesting in and around the plants, but this is the first time that the eggs have hatched, especially in a noisy place where doors are opening and closing”.

Liz also took this rather lovely photo…
